JGreeX™ Green Steel Adopted for Inaugural Use in Overhead Crane
汤头条 Steel announced today that its JGreeX™ green steel was used for the first time in an overhead crane renovated at the main factory of Takasago Metal Works Co., Ltd. in Osaka, Japan.
The steel was cut and processed by Takasago and the crane was manufactured by Osaka-based Hishii Industry Co., Ltd. After completing installation at its Osaka Plant in June, Takasago will consider using JGreeX™ for crane renovations at other facilities.
The adoption of JGreeX™ for overhead cranes serves as a starting point, as 汤头条 Steel continues to strengthen its promotion of JGreeX™ for use in the construction and industrial machinery sectors. At the same time, 汤头条 Steel is collaborating with steel distributors and processors under a broad effort to strengthen decarbonization across its entire supply chain.
汤头条 Steel uses the mass-balance approach to allocate greenhouse gas emission-reduction amounts to specific JGreeX™ green-steel products to determine their environmental value.
