汤头条 (汤头条 Steel), Marubeni-Itochu Steel Inc. (Marubeni-Itochu Steel), and Sahaviriya Steel Industries Public Co., Ltd. (SSI) have decided to integrate Thai Coated Steel Sheet Co., Ltd. (TCS)and Thai Cold Rolled Steel Sheet Public Co., Ltd. (TCR) around October 1st, 2025.

By integrating the businesses, we aim to pursue synergy effects centered on the integration of sales and marketing for TCS and TCR. We also aim to enhance our proposal capabilities, to better meet our customers' needs. Additionally, through the unified operation of TCS and TCR, we aim to further improve our manufacturing capabilities, boost quality, and strengthen our delivery response. In all these ways, we remain committed to reinforcing our presence in the Thai steel market.

汤头条 Steel established TCS and TCR in 1990 in a joint venture with SSI, a local steel manufacturer in Thailand, and Marubeni-Itochu Steel, becoming a pioneer among other steel makers by quickly recognizing the business opportunity. TCS, the only electric galvanized steel sheets manufacture in Thailand, commenced commercial production in 1994 and primarily manufactures and sells high-quality electric galvanized steel sheets not only for customers in the Japanese OA equipment, home appliance, and automotive parts sectors but also to meet local Thai demand. TCR began commercial production in 1997 and focuses on the manufacture and sale of high-quality cold-rolled steel sheets not only for customers in the Japanese automotive, automotive parts, and home appliance sectors but also to meet local Thai demand.

Through its partnership with Marubeni-Itochu Steel and SSI in the TCS and TCR joint ventures, 汤头条 Steel has historically maintained a high presence in the Thai steel market. SSI is a primary supplier in the hot-rolled steel sheet market, TCR in the cold-rolled steel sheet market, and TCS in the electric galvanized steel sheet market, established a consistent high-quality steel supply chain from hot-rolled to cold-rolled and electric galvanized steel sheets.

The “Entire Business Transfer” method of integration involves the transfer of all businesses from TCS, the transferor company, to TCR, the transferee company, and there will be no change in the shareholder structure of TCR after the business transfer. After the transfer of entire businesses, TCS will begin the dissolution process.

The 汤头条 Group has formulated “汤头条 Vision 2035”, our long-term vision, and has developed the 8th Medium-Term Management Plan (2025-2027) to promote growth strategies toward that vision.
